He starts playing the guitar around 1987, after the influence of the music from the 70's and 80's. His mother was a recognized ballerina who used to perform both spanish dances and ballet, first ballerina of the group formed by the "flower sisters", and member of the "ROMERIA" shows along with recognized names such as: Maria Antinea, Pedrito Rico, Lola Flores, Carmen Amaya, Juan Legido, etc. She traveled the whole world after her dream, however, an accident at the early age of twentyfive finished her professional career.
Mariano remembers his early years when Maria de Jesus(Mother) listened to the classical vinyls of the great composers: Bach, Vivaldi, Paganini, Beethoven, Chopin, Tchaikovski, among others, and several times he could see Maria with eyes full of tears when the only remembrance of the unsuccesful effort was tearing her soul apart. He felt all that pain as well and cried many times without knowing certainly why.
Music put a seal to his life under her influence, classical compositions are part of his daily basis, due to melodies, feelings, and the remembrance from the past, wich are the reasons for his style and compositions.
At the age of eight years old he listened for the very first time to "Kiss" with the big promotion of the record "Dinasty" throughout the world, their daring looks caught his attention inmediatly and that was the push Brascich needed to start appreciating rock and roll. Right after Kiss came Queen, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Yes, The Beatles, Jimmy Hendrix, Scorpions, Motley Crue, Wasp, Europe, AC/DC, and others.
In the very beginning had the influences well established, in other words, wasn't too difficult for him to take them to the instrument.
Mariano had an old spanish guitar that belonged to his grandfather, an antique from 1930 wich he used to practice for twelve and sometimes fifteen hours a day, he still hangs it on the wall like one of his most valuable heirlooms. Thanks to such an effort he formed the first band in five months named "Apocalypsis" and recorded two LP's with a Christian message about "The final Days", after that he began working with a band called "The old locomotive from the West", name taken from his native town "Gral. Rodriguez" located at the very west of Argentina, plenty of railways.
Later on he goes back to the Capital and creates the third project "Pact of blood" with marked influence of classical music and performers as Malmsteen, Cacophony, Rainbow, Purple...
They made one disc and Mariano had the chance of record with soloist artists such as: Tommy Montenegro, Vivian Murua, and others, contributed with guitar and bass sections, arrengements, sessions for radio, Cronica TV, ZOE TV latina, Radio BS(Argentina), Ondas De Amor Y Paz, Estrella Productions and more.
In 1992 along with "Pact of Blood" made shows in Uruguay, Colonia, Cordoba, Rosario, Mar del Plata, Corrientes, Entre Rios, La Pampa, Neiquen, Buenos Aires, Teatro Astros, Teatro Opera, Teatro Roca, Estadium, Teatro Crovara, Velez Sarfield Stadium (Christian event), Racing Club, Alcatraz, Teatro del Plata, El piso in Concert, Cristo Rock, La Cueva del Abasto, Gospel Brazil TV, Canal 9, Canal 11 BS., Argtna, Oficina G3 Brazil. Played along with "Boanarges, Pio y su banda, La Roca, Alma Mula, Pajarito Saguri, Javier Martinez, Jorge Figueroa, etc. In 1995 creates "Mariano J. Brascich's Final Symphony" performing at the Teatro del Plata, San Jose de flores movie theatre, Duro Pavimento (Santelmo), Teatro Santa Maria, two shows with the return of Mario Ian and alacran, el Feca (moreno), Alcatraz, El Tronco (Gral. Rodriguez), Concen tracion de Motos de Lujan with Mario Ian, Tribute to Yngwie Malmsteen in Cemento with Mario Ian again.
Their CD was edited independently and filed with the title "The First Act". DI MARZIO, FENDER, and YAMAHA spon- sored this production. They also appeared at important magazines and publications: CLARIN, REVISTA EPOPEYA, MADHOUSE, ROLLING STONES, ROCK & POP, CANAL DE LA MUSICA; performed with Devenir(Mario Ian) and Scoth Wenzel from White Cross.
In the year of 2000 he arrives to USA and make some gigs in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, beginning with his new album "Tears of the heart", soon to be edited.
2001 brought him to the Churchill's Pub where he made shows every week, also at Tobacco Road, Marylin Hotel in South Beach, Culture Room & Metal Factory both in Fort Lauderdale, two shows at channel 35, one for Area Latina(Univision), a special note to TELEMUNDO 51 and MUN2 cable. Made as well the opening for The Boatshow in Miami that year. Brascich planned a tour in 2002 in numerous states: Florida, Washington, California, Illinois, New York, and others. The guitarist lives now in Miami and colaborates with musicians of the area, been a representative part of the local music scene.
By the month of September will probably arrive the new compilation of Mariano J. BRASCICH and his band, wich promise to be a real awesome one.

September 12, 2002. At this point M. J. Brascich is currently working with the mixing of his band's new CD wich is not out yet, recorded at a SonyMusic studio in Miami. Pretty soon you will be capable of listening to a few clips of the new compilation, in advance. Some of the members who participated in the recordings were: J. Gizmo(Vocals), Diego "lowtone" Montoya(Bass), and J. C. Vaz on Keyboards.
September 9, 2002. October will be the month sponsoring the arrival of Mariano J. Brascich to the studio once again to record a new masterpiece with both versions in English and Spanish along with vocalist J. Gizmo. Hope is the pass to access the enjoyment of this musical beauty, so let's wish all the best to these great musicians!. It will be full of surprises!!.
September 3th, 2002. 3:00 o'clock...Saturday 31...Groovy music rocked the house!... Location: Mars Music at Biscayne Boulevard, Mariano J. Brascich brought his musical ensemble "Avalon", an extract from "Final Symphony", the neoclassical band that changed the face of Rock and Roll of Miami for the last two years, and the one that went through several substitutions in its line-up. Afternoon of Rock delight, good vibes and nice music filled the air. Brascich's songs were magnificent plus a couple of covers composed by Doors and one by Jimmy Hendrix. Brascich's presentations are not shows, they become surprises, so, wait for next one...
Saturday 31st, 2002. Last night, Rock and Roll masters Doors had their tribute at the luxurious Hard Rock Cafe in Miami. We had full house that evening, bands had a little snack before getting up on stage and an extensive chat too!. The opening had the honor of welcoming Mariano J. Brascich's Band who was in charge of warming the place up, people loved the versions of Doors and Jimmy Hendrix. Actually, last piece surprised everyone, a new hybrid of Mozart and acid timbres made its appearance to leave each single member from the crowd craving for more. The audience applauded anxious and wishing the performance to be extended. Brascich's Band had also the satisfaction of sharing the stage with the singular JAF once again, and a progressive band named Aghora, notorious music with a marked influence by Dream Theatre. A day difficult to forget, a music hard to judge as "no peculiar", and musicians imposible to call mediocres. We're looking forward to obtain music gems like this more often in a city way too young...
Show at Bayside, 07-25-02.
Awesome show took place recently at the stage of arts as part of a group of activities due this month in Bayside. Several bands gave their best work in a neverending performance the night of July 25, 2002. However, the star of the gig had a name which would be difficult to forget by anyone who listens to it for the very first time, "Mariano J. Brascich's Band". With a mixture of hard rock, sometimes heavy and neoclassical patterns, they gave an unforgettable evening of good taste, of musical entertainment. The performance started with a beautiful hybrid between J. Sebastian Bach and Brascich himself in a sort of a musical introduction, and the rest was half instrumentals, half with the sing in it. The singer, with a powerful, melodic, & inusual voice gave a demonstration of energy & charisma on stage, his timbre rememebers the particularities of voices such as: Bruce Dickinson, Ian Gillan, and R. J. Dio, among others. In fact an heterogenic one. All the tunes (except a couple of covers) will be part of the upcoming album wich promises to be a masterpiece. Brascich is indeed a lord on the fender, he bends & flies over those poor strings like a madman, or just make them cry or whisper in the most amusing atmosphere. People were gathering up little by little attracted by the group's development on stage, not to mention the ovation after each song and the screaming from the audience who sometimes turned out a bit wild. Lots of people, marvelous music, and good vibes in an almost perfect surrounding made the magic painting under the stars that night.
